MINNEAPOLIS — Hideki Matsui hit his first homer of the season for the A's, who took two of three. Oakland entered having scored 24 runs (four over their past four games), ahead of only the Twins (21) and Rays (19) in the AL. Matsui, who entered hitting .160, homered in the fourth. And the A's scored four in the sixth, highlighted by Josh Willingham's leadoff homer.
