The Bucs traded up 12 spots in the fourth round Saturday with the Philadelphia Eagles and selected Tennessee tight end Luke Stocker with the 104th pick overall.
Stocker had 85 career receptions for 956 yards and eight touchdowns in his career with the Volunteers. In exchange for moving up 12 spots, the Bucs traded their fourth round pick this season (116 overall) and a fourth-rounder in 2012.
Stocker will provide another option for quarterback Josh Freeman in two tight end formations opposite Kellen Winslow. The Bucs needed depth at that position after Jerramy Stevens was released following an arrest on marijuana possession charges last year.
