Athletics 6, White Sox 2
OAKLAND, Calif. — David DeJesus got his 1,000th career hit and drove in two runs, and Tyson Ross took a shutout into the sixth for the Athletics. Chad Pennington, Daric Barton and Kurt Suzuki also drove in runs for Oakland, and Josh Willingham, who served a suspension Friday night, added two hits. The White Sox lost for only the second time in seven games. Ross struck out a career-high eight and put together back-to-back victories for the first time in the majors.
