D'backs 1, Dodgers 0
LOS ANGELES — Josh Collmenter pitched six two-hit innings in his first major-league start, and a miscommunication on a pickoff throw by pitcher Chad Billingsley led to the Diamondbacks' run. Stephen Drew led off the second with a double, and Billingsley tried to pick him off, but shortstop Jamey Carroll failed to cover, and the ball rolled into center as Drew barely beat Matt Kemp's throw to third. Montero walked and Melvin Mora hit a sacrifice fly.
