Yankees 5, Blue Jays 2
NEW YORK — The changes Curtis Granderson started making to his swing last season have really taken root. The Yankees outfielder hit a three-run homer, and Mark Teixeira also went deep for New York. "It's really his willingness to make a change. The baseball ability has always been there," manager Joe Girardi said of Granderson, who once struggled against left-handers but now is an everyday threat.
